Treat looked like a spa from outside and that's what drew us in. The calm energy that it portrayed. Once inside it was warm and cozy. the plating is Pinterest worthy, they take care of the small details. The hosts looked after us very well. I could write Paragraphs about Chef Francois as we got the Privilege to meet him on that day. He is pure delight who takes great pride in his Restaurant and His town. You can tell his workers have a friendly relationship with him, they are not afraid of the boss". the place feels good. if you are looking for a warm, 5 star meal in a relaxed environment, and are not in a rush. Please give Treat a try, you will not regret. to Francois for what you did for us that day, and the Tour, may always encounter Francois in your life. we will not forget you.

The veggie toast was tasty, but less healthy than we expected. Cappucino is good, the fresh orange juice (included with breakfast) was amazing. What truly set this place apart was the toilet. Granted, we were the first of the day, but they were heavenly. Smelled like roses, perfectly clean, even had some hand/body lotion. Also, ambiance was great. Lots of sun in the morning. Amazing place to start your morning.

A cozy restaurant with elegant decor. We came here for breakfast. The menu items were beautifully plated and tasted delicious. They even served us complimentary fresh orange juice. Will definitely recommend.

Francois! You are an awesome host. The food was wonderful and we had such a great time. The staff were friendly and their service was top notch. Did I mention the food… Wow!! Amazing! Will definitely come for a lovely dining experience again soon. Thanks for the warm and wonderful atmosphere on this very cold winters day.

A real "treat", great chilled zen atmosphere, delicious well portioned breakfasts and good service. We visited twice on our weekend visit to clarens. We also bought their home made marmalade, picked figs and peaches. Delicious!

We visited Treat during our holiday in Clarens. As it was the long weekend, we made a reservation and good thing we did because it was fully booked. The restaurant is modern and sophisticated. The wait staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We ordered lamb shank and cajun pork ribeye. Both were delicious and filling. For dessert we had the coconut and salted caramel cake which was a suprising combination of flavours.

Had excellent family dinner Easter Sunday. Everything was 5 out of 5 thank you Francios and staff. Will be back on our next visit to Clarens. Real fine dining with excellent service.

We decided to take a chance on this restaurant on the outskirts of town to avoid the chaos and business in town from the holiday season. It was the best choice ever!!
This is a fine dining establishment with a beautiful, tranquil ambience, excellent service, fabulous decor and views and high quality, delicious food! The menu offers more unusual foods than your everyday, common restaurants. We didn't have starters, only mains and dessert. My seafood chowder was fantastic with rich flavors and a generous portion. My husband said the lamb shank flavors were deep and the meat was falling off the bone. This portion was not quite enough to fill him, but quality over quantity for sure! I had the Chai Panna Cotta which was silky, light and creamy, while my husband had the Brownie Afogata which was decadent and most enjoyable! Our service was tops from beginning to end. The tables were beautifully set and the music soothing and calm. This was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend a meal at Taste for a superior experience in Clarens.
